.....( IT ).....
This 4th of July I will celebrating with my family & friends as usual! Not only will I be celebrating my freedom because of the great nation in which I live - But I will also be celebrating my liberation from sin because of Jesus. From God's prospective "it's as if (IT) sin never happened." God so honor's and esteems the sacrifice of His Son that it removes any remembrance from his mind concerning sin! Jesus on the cross drew all judgment unto himself. He not only took away our sin, but He also became our sin! The ultimate price was paid for our freedom form sin. Don't allow the enemy to still your peace and joy over a few bad mistakes or many multiple on purpose mean as a rattle-snake just wanted to do it sin. JESUS PAID IT ALL - IT'S AS IF IT NEVER HAPPENED! This 4th of July enjoy the gift of innocence by receiving the gift of Life!

The Fulfillment - Jesus!
Matthew 6:9--15 "The Lord's Prayer."
The glory of the Lord's prayer is this. It's an old covenant prayer (pre-cross, burial, resurrection) of Jesus - for the purpose of bringing God's perfect will into the earth through Jesus. Jesus is the perfect will of God; and all who are in Christ Jesus are in God's perfect will!
VS-10 Thy Kingdom come thy will be done in earth as it is in heaven.
Jesus is the only man (born of woman) who was ever in perfect obedience to the will of God! The good-news for us is - God has credited his obedience to our account! It's called the Free Gift of Righteousness/Justification.
Jesus is the answer & fulfillment of what we have labeled as, "The Lord's Prayer."
Ye are COMPLETE in HIM, which is the head of all principality and power - Colossians 2:10.

No More Offering...
Many Christians with good intent are seeking various methods for personal change to better themselves that they might have a closer encounter with the living God. Often we try more prayer, more bible study, more church attendance, more fasting, more giving, more not sinning, more confession, more + more = more + more = more things to do. For the believer there is a seemingly never ending cycle of , "More of the next best thing's that will supposedly get you closer to God."
We read books about it, write books about it, attend seminars for it, give away things desiring it, and sacrifice ourselves foolishly in the hope of obtaining it, and all the time it's been right under our nose. You ask, what is it?
Here it is.....

New Covenant Liberty...
The Levitical Law kept people in a perpetual state of misery by reminding them of their sins. New Covenant Liberty, "which is by the blood of Jesus," keeps us in a perpetual state of forgiveness where there's no more remembering of sin!
God Gives...
Many in the church have been misled to believe that God demands great sacrifice from them in order for them to be able to receive a blessing from Him. This could not be farther from the truth. The scriptures conclude that (GOD LOVES TO GIVE). That's right GIVE, and freely Give at that! Here's just a few scriptures of conformation.....
God spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also FREELY GIVE US ALL THINGS - Romans 8:32
God's divine power HATH GIVEN UNTO US ALL THINGS that pertain to life and Godliness - II Peter 1:3
My Father GIVETH THE TRUE BREAD of heaven - John 6:32
For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and GIVETH LIFE TO THE WORLD - John 6:33
Every good and perfect GIFT COMES DOWN FROM GOD - James 1:17
If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that GIVETH TO ALL MEN LIBERALLY, and upbraideth not; and it SHALL BE GIVEN HIM - James 1:5
For God so love the world THAT HE GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTON SO, that whosoever believeth on him should not perish, but have everlasting life - John 3:16
I personally believe, "that God derives great pleasure from giving." If you really want to make God smile, just open your heart and hands to freely receive what he has to give to you today...God is good and he shows us his goodness by giving!

Grace Pondering...
My Personal Experience....
I have never experienced the love of God as I currently do now! Inside of me, it's like the torrent flames of a billowing inferno consuming every part of me and what I do and it just keeps getting bigger. It fills every place and space of my existence with overwhelming power; whether I'm at work, home, sleep, etc. It's the presence of my savior!
You may ask, "what did you do to enable you to get this kind of experience with God?" The religious answer, do more, more praying, more bible reading, more church attendance, more sacrifice, etc. The real answer is simple; simply believe on him whom God has sent to redeem you, (Jesus)!
The Paradox.....The more I did to try and get God to love me, the less of God's love I was able to receive. My entire thinking on the matter from God's perspective was wrong and I didn't even know it. There is nothing we can do to persuade God to love us more than he already does! The answer lies within the work of the cross, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life" - (John 3:16)
God's Part.....He loves us and He gave His son to demonstrate that love!
Our Part..... Believing; receiving more and more of God's love has everything to do with us believing this simple message, apart from our trying to merit God's love.
This is the work of God, that ye BELIEVE on him whom he hath sent - (John 6:29)
Through the cross, God did all the work so that our part would be simple, just believe! Believing is the key to receiving more and more of Gods great love. I do less than ever to receive God's love; but, because I'm receiving more of God's love I'm doing more than I ever dreamed possible!

Following God 101.....#3
For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, THEY ARE THE SONS OF GOD - (Romans 8:14)
The Spirit of God is always unveiling to us the finished work of the cross - and who we are as his sons! God is leading us to a place of confident assurance and perfect rest in knowing how much he truly love us!
Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God - 1 John 3:1
